Bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth—that’s the number one opportunity, and it’s the number one responsibility for each one of us as Christians. And I believe we have to influence.
I’ve known Ian for over 20 years and in the beginning, we worked together in church planting and leadership training. Then I saw an incredible shift in Ian’s thinking—towards transformation. That caught my attention. I saw this incredible mindset, and it helped me think bigger. The gospel is much more than just preaching the Good News—it’s actually about transformation, bringing the Kingdom of God to every place where Christians are.
Living and working alongside Ian for many years really impacted my heart and made me realize that there is something much bigger than I had known before. I remember Ian once talking to me about pastoring a city, and that thought really stayed in my heart. I believe that bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth is the number one opportunity and responsibility for each one of us as Christians.
I believe we must influence every area of life. We are not here just for ourselves—we are here to bring His Kingdom into every aspect. Wherever God places me, or any Christian, we should bring His presence to that place. Whether it’s in education, sports, or business, I believe with all my heart that we are called to bring transformation—to change the whole of society.
I believe that as the Church, as believers, we are here to bring transformation to every aspect of life. This is something I learned and received from Ian. He often talks about the importance of thinking bigger—that we shouldn’t just focus on our small congregations. We should look at our cities, we should look at our countries, and we should pastor them. We should bring the Kingdom of God into every area of life and apply Kingdom thinking to every place where God has positioned us.
