Coaching Testimony - John Glow

My name is John Glow, and my wife Lisa and I recently had the privilege of spending several days with Ian and Judith Green for a coaching retreat. It was an incredibly valuable and meaningful experience.

We have known Ian and Judith for more than 35 years. They have been mentors, trusted friends, and ministry partners throughout our journey. For many years, they visited Excel Church annually to minister to our congregation, and it has been a privilege to support them and partner together in their mission and ministry.

Five years ago, I handed over the senior leadership of Excel Church as we transitioned to Glow Church, where I now serve as an Associate Pastor and continue to be part of the leadership team. This retreat came at an important season in our lives, as we wanted to intentionally pause and consider what the next decade could look like.

During our time together, Ian and Judith helped us gain clarity around our vision for the future. We explored our financial plans, discussed how we can build a meaningful legacy for our children and the next generation, and challenged some of the limiting beliefs that can keep us from thinking bigger.

What made this experience so impactful wasn't just the practical conversations, but the environment Ian and Judith created. Their wisdom, encouragement, and thoughtful questions gave us the space to reflect deeply, gain fresh perspective, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and equipped with a clearer vision for the years ahead. The beautiful setting, combined with Ian and Judith's genuine hospitality, made it easy to step away from the demands of everyday life and focus on what matters most.
