I pastor City Church in Bratislava and lead a movement of 47 churches across Slovakia. I am passionate about equipping leaders, helping communities grow in faith, and investing in the next generation. Leadership can be lonely at the top. Even with all the growth and ministry, it is not always easy to stay focused, balanced, and encouraged.

Spending time with friends who challenge and inspire you is rare, and recently my wife Monica and I had the opportunity to spend a few days with Ian and Judith Green. It was a truly refreshing and transformative time.

We have known Ian and Judith for over 25 years. Ian was one of the first leaders to come to Slovakia after freedom came, and he has always cared deeply about the church, young people, and training leaders. Many of the people he helped train are still serving faithfully today.

During our visit, we shared meals, prayed together, laughed, and had honest conversations about life, ministry, family, and the future. Ian spoke openly from his own experience and helped us think clearly about priorities, leadership, and staying connected to God’s work while raising a family.

Monica especially felt encouraged by the guidance on marriage, parenting, and planning for the future. We are also so grateful for their hospitality and warm hearts. Those few days were transformational in a way we had not experienced in a long time.

Ian combines real-life experience with spiritual insight. His wisdom challenged us, encouraged us, and gave us clarity. Time with him and Judith reminded us how valuable mentorship is and left a lasting impact on our lives and ministry.
