Across more than three decades of ministry and leadership in Central and Eastern Europe, our lives and calling have been shaped by relationships that carry depth, trust, and lasting fruit. Ian and Judith Green have been such a presence for each of us.
The voices shared here come from different nations, seasons, and leadership contexts, yet we are united in our gratitude for the role Ian and Judi have played in our journeys.
Miro and Marta- Slovakia & Hungary
As church planters who have established churches in Slovakia and, over the past five years, in Budapest, Hungary, our ministry has been influenced at key moments by Ian and Judith’s wisdom and encouragement. We have known them for over thirty years, beginning in the early stages of our leadership and church planting journey. Their investment during those foundational years helped shape not only what we built, but how we lead.
Spending several days with Ian and Judith recently was both refreshing and deeply inspiring. It was a time of meaningful conversation, reflection, and renewed vision. We were challenged to think beyond familiar boundaries and to consider what God desires to do in and through us for Kingdom impact across Central and Eastern Europe. Ian’s apostolic insight consistently lifts our perspective to see regions, generations, and future opportunities with faith.
We were also stretched to expand our thinking in practical areas such as strategy and provision, believing God for greater capacity to sustain and advance the vision ahead. Just as meaningful was the safe and trusted space we were given to share openly about difficult seasons we have walked through. Because of the depth of relationship, the time of prayer and personal ministry was deeply strengthening and special to us.
Stanislav and Hana- Czech Republic
Our relationship with Ian and Judith also spans more than thirty years. Over that time, we have planted churches together, trained leaders, and partnered in ministry projects throughout the Czech Republic and other parts of Europe. This shared history has created a foundation of trust, friendship, and aligned vision.
The recent days we spent together were a rich combination of rest, honest conversation, and forward looking vision. We reflected on the journey God has already taken us through, while also dreaming and planning for what lies ahead. Once again, Ian and Judi’s wisdom and insight planted fresh ideas and direction in our hearts. We return home inspired and challenged, carrying clarity and renewed focus for the season before us.
Though each of us serves in different nations and contexts, our experiences reflect the same truth. Ian and Judith Green walk faithfully with leaders over the long term. They invest deeply, speak with wisdom, and help others see beyond the present moment into God’s greater purposes.
We are grateful for what they have sown into our lives, both in past seasons and in this present one. We move forward refreshed, strengthened, and full of faith for the future.
