When Ian visited our church recently, he spoke passionately and prophetically on, “Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”, and talked us through what it really means for God’s kingdom to come. He reminded us that evangelism is fundamentally about relationship — building real, heartfelt connections with people who don’t yet know Jesus, loving them, serving them and letting them see Jesus in us. His ministry was immensely challenging and inspirational and our whole congregation was deeply impacted by his message. One of our members said, “what an amazing night, Ian has caused me to totally re-think how I do things”.
Ian’s teaching has been so helpful and inspirational, his unique gifting is that he is so passionate about the church being armed to bring Kingdom transformation in all spheres of life, so that we see God’s kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We’re putting what we learned into practice, praying and believing God to bring transformation in our community and beyond by his mighty power at work in our lives.
