Ukraine December 2010

300 pastors and missionaries were encouraged to ‘Go to the Next Level' during Ian’s recent visit to Ukraine.

Ed Dickson, a Canadian now living in Ukraine,  travelled with Ian and picks up the story of the visit which took place in December.

“Ian Green has an intriguing ability to come into my life at critical moments, and then say something that dramatically improves my spiritual life and practical effectiveness.

Ian visits churches in Ukraine On December 9th and 10th, 2010, Ian led a two day conference, in Ukraine, advertised as, “Getting to the Next Level”. Ian clicked in a major way with the three hundred pastors and missionaries who are part of the phenomenal church-planting movement flowing out of the Church of Praise based in the city of Krivoy Rog.

Ian was able to challenge conference members to truly believe that “abundant” life is possible, wherever in the world you are, through change, growth and paying the price. Many conference members received a real revelation when they understood that the “comfort zone” can even come to pastors in a village in Ukraine!

Pastor Gregory Suhina, Bishop of the Churches of Praise, was amazed at how Ian was able to take intricate ideas, relate them simply and specifically to church planters, and then inspire them to believe that they could reach their goal of planting forty more churches this year!

On Sunday, December 12th, Ian Green spoke to the one thousand (plus) members of the Church of Praise in Krivoy Rog, Ukraine. This is the central church for a movement of church planting which has birthed over 30 daughter churches in the city of Krivoy Rog and over 300 daughter churches throughout Ukraine and Armenia in the last ten years.

In a country ravaged by economic crisis, Ian proved that “the best is yet to come” for the Churches of Praise and that idea was genuinely accepted with waves of applause!"
