Turning the Curve

As more and more churches in the UK and across Europe explore ways of effectively engaging with their local communities through social action and enterprise, the Proton Foundation is looking to offer assistance in the form of consultation, training and workshops.

If you are passionate about seeing transformation take place in your church, organisation, community or city. If you have a vision for a prosperous neighbourhood but are not sure how to begin to turn that vision into a deliverable community project, then ‘Turning the Curve’ has been developed by the Proton Foundation to help you and your team work through some of the key issues required to get you up and running.

In a half day workshop learn how to:
·         Create and clarify your vision
·         Build powerful coalitions and partnerships
·         Go from talk to action using methods that work
·         Generate accountability
·         Use communication methods that get results
·         Develop your action plan – on a single side of A4
·         Stay on track – measure outcomes
·         Create the right mindset.

The course if facilitated by Jim Dunn, who directs the development of Education and Training programmes on behalf of the Proton Foundation. Jim is a former Corus Senior Manager who gives consultancy support on selected key issues. He is an engineer by profession but works chiefly in the Human Resources area specialising in Culture Change and Personal and Organisation Development. He has considerable experience in the field of Behavioural Psychology and currently consults with companies and other groups throughout the UK, Central and Eastern Europe, the USA and Canada. He facilitates at company conferences and regularly addresses large audiences as well as dealing with small groups. Jim is also the author of several books.
