The Proton Foundation launches new Project Development Fund as it looks to build organisational capacity in order to pursue exciting new initiatives and opportunities for community transformation across Europe.
Alongside existing projects, the Proton Foundation is building organisational capacity in 2010 in order to carry out feasibility studies and project development work in the following service areas: I. COMMUNITY REGENERATION Waste to Energy Solutions - Europe Affordable Housing - Romania Combating poverty through community transformation - Romania II. BUSINESS & SOCIAL ENTERPRISE Family Entertainment Centres - Europe Sport In Action - Romania Franchise/Business Opportunities - Romania & Bulgaria III. EDUCATION & TRAINING National Leadership Development Training - Macedonia Courses for young people not in education, employment or training - Europe
The team have set a faith goal of £100k for 2010 and are looking for donors, partners and project workers to stand with them in maximising the potential to see transformation take place in communities across Europe. We need you're help!!
The Fund Facilitates: - the identification of new initiatives that further the mission, values, aims and objectives of the organisation. - the exploration of potential project opportunities as and when presented to the organisation. -research and feasbility studies of new projects. - the development of special project business proposals, including building strategic partnerships and identifying funding strategies. - the set up and initial operational costs of pilot projects, with the aim of creating a reproducible sustainable project business modelOnce projects are fully operational and capable of financial sustainability, the Proton Foundation will look to explore a means of generating an income stream back to the organisation in order to reimburse the Development Fund, or generate resources for loans and grants to other partnership organisations looking to develop new initiatives. [It is recognised that this may not be possible in every business case.] The Proton Foundation Development Fund seeks to raise finances through sponsorship and donations to enable the organisation to facilitate the development of new initiatives, where no initial project set-up funding has been identified or secured to otherwise drive the initative forward. Without the valued support of individuals and companies through donation/sponsorship it would be difficult to pursue many of the opportunities that come to the Foundation. Financial donations, however small, will enable the Foundation to pursue the development of new community transformation initiatives right across the continent of Europe. If you would like to partner with the Proton Foundation via the Development Fund, donations can be made online, or by contacting the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
