Ian's Changing Role

It became apparent that for the NLI team the title of Visionary Leader may not be reflective of Ian's input into the organization and it was thereby decided that we'll no longer be referring to Ian’s role as the Visionary Leader.  In addition, NLI felt there was a need for greater clarity for Ian of where his energies need to be in the future. With an intention to focus on Ian’s gifts and abilities together we identified four key areas of responsibility outlined as follows:

1. Lead Team Member -- To participate on the Lead Team with the other members who are there to support the Primary Leader in the areas outlined above.

2. Resource Raising -- Continuing to focus on resource raising but moving more into a support role for the teams particularly in the areas of recruitment and ‘strategic asks’.

3. Networking -- Focus on networking with key individuals and groups.

4. Spiritual Mentoring -- Intentionally spend time with the staff for the explicit purpose of spiritual mentorship; and Next Level will continue to encourage team members to find opportunities to join Ian in travel as a way of accessing his experience.
