February 2010 - Brentwood, Essex

Ian is highly regarded at ‘Breakthru Church’ in Brentwood, Essex and has had connections with the church for many years.   Ian was tremendously inspiring when he challenged us not to fall into the trap of negative thinking. It was a timely message, reinforcing much of what God has been saying to the church. Ian is a great communicator and knows how to use the word of God to challenge while combining it with humour and inspiring stories from his own journey with God. Many of our people were really encouraged because they have been actively seeking God for mind transformation and were encouraged to continue to allow God to change them.

The church in Brentwood is at a transition point, with a new Pastor, new name, new venue  and new projects. As such we found it incredibly uplifting when someone of Ian’s stature brings confirmation of God’s word. Ian has an authentic anointing of the Holy Spirit and several individuals facing personal challenges reported how moved they were by some of the fantastic ways that God has moved in Ian’s ministry.  Giving them fresh hope that as they trust in God He will come through for them too. We thank God for Ian, and for all that He is doing through Ian and pray that God will use him in even greater measure in the future.

The personal time that I was able to spend with Ian after the service was also very much appreciated. As a new Pastor, it is reassuring to know that there is someone like Ian that I can call on for advice, guidance and encouragement. His willingness to make himself available shows that he is a real servant of God and a great example to follow.
